Ready to Launch

Happy March, friends!

This time of year is always exciting as we see nature blooming, and the sun makes
itself known. This spring is particularly exciting for us as we prepare to depart for our new home. Our
departure date is March 16 and we will be landing in our new city in the afternoon of March 17 th . When
we land, we will be in temporary housing, then the hunt will be on for an apartment and child care for
our girls. We are blessed to have a team on the field that will be receiving us, and we are excited to join
a national church that has already been serving faithfully.

We are grieved to be leaving our friends and co-workers that we have been in training with, but we are
also so encouraged by them. This has been a wonderful opportunity to learn from and along side
families and singles that have already served all across the globe, or are headed into countries that can’t
be named and pose a risk to their lives. We are being invited to our country to serve with the Baptist
Union, but that is far from true for many of our co-workers.

As we step into the unknown, we would love to know who our core prayer network is. We have stickers
to send to our prayer partners who have committed to pray for the Croats and the work that the Lord is
doing there. So- let us know who you are! We would love to have some go-to people to share our prayer
needs with that will also be willing to take our prayer needs to US churches. The best way to let us know

Four main things that we would ask for all of you to pray for are:
March 10-16 Saying good bye to all of our family and friends
March 11-31 Our colleagues and friends as they travel to their new homes
March 16-17 Safety for our family as we navigate four airports and 3 flights
over the course of 15 hours
March 17-31 Finding an apartment that will fit our family’s needs
