We moved!

Hey y’all welcome back to our (mostly) monthly update.  Today I, Jeremiah, will be taking the reigns with the newsletter because, as you saw in the title, we have moved!  Anna is currently in her happy place unpacking and organizing our things throughout our new home. As previously mentioned in our last update, we had been taking vision trips to a city called Biograd in search of a new home, and we finally found one. Our prayer for the longest time was to find a place in the center of the city withing walking distance of the bible study and the girls’ school which they will be attending in the next year or so. It was looking grim for a while because these coastal towns are well suited for tourists visiting for a few days but not for outsiders looking to relocate. We couldn’t find anything in the beginning which pushed us to further rely on God and his provisional timing. Then around this time last month we got a lead on a place that fits everything we had been praying for, and now we are here!

So, what is our new place like? Our new home is a family home turned AirBnB that then turned into a long-term rental. Many Croatian families lived in three-story homes that housed three generations worth of people: great grandparents in the basement, their children on the ground floor, and the grandchildren on the top floor (more or less). We were blessed to find a first and second floor partition of one of these homes for rent. It is two living spaces connected by an outdoor staircase (if you can imagine it). So far, the setup is a little disjointed, but I am sure we will find harmony soon enough.

We truly want to thank all our prayer warriors who have been holding the rope for us back home, we know the motor of our ministry is fueled by the faithful intercession of those who support us. It means more than you can ever know. Lives are being changed, God’s Church is growing, and the love of Christ is spreading to a region known for its Godless nature. Thank you for helping us be the hands and feet of Christ here as you faithfully live as the hands and feet of Christ back home!

Our focus now is serving in the Biograd bible study with the hopes of turning it into a healthy church within the next year. On top of that Anna has started helping with Sunday School in the Church in Zadar where we will also be doing street evangelism throughout the week. Please join in prayer with us in these matters, these are wonderful opportunities the Lord has prepared and are sure to make an impact on both the lost and current believers in our field.
