We Must Pray

Last month I wrote about being sensitive to the lostness around us. Since then, we have had the opportunity to spend time with colleagues that serve across our continent, and the reality of lostness in Europe was made even clearer.

As we endure hardships in life and see brokenness all around us, hopelessness can start to creep in.
We want the world to know the good news of Jesus, but the task seems insurmountable.
We know that ultimately, we must trust God to do a miraculous work, but what can we do in the meantime?
We must pray.

Over the course of the next few months, it is our goal to share with you more about the people we serve and why the Gospel message is so needed here. We want your heart to break for our people so that you will earnestly join us in prayer for their salvation.
In the meantime, will you join us in praying this prayer?

Jesus tells us in John 15:4-5

 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”

Prayer Needs for August 
August 1-5: Pray for Anna and Jeremiah to draw near to God and to one another as they celebrate their wedding anniversary on August 5th. 
August 6-12: Jeremiah will be volunteering at a youth camp with one of our partners. Please pray for safety for the students and volunteers, that the Gospel would be shared and received well, and for Anna and the girls while Jeremiah is away. 
August 13-19: Please pray that we will find a daycare/ kindergarten that has open spots for our girls so that they can start attending. Louella is especially motivated to learn the language so that she can talk to her friends. 
August 20-26: We want to share the gospel! Please pray that we would find ways to share the gospel message with more people, even while we are still new to language learning. 
August 27-31: Please pray for believers who are working hard to make Jesus known around the world.
