Welcome to our blog! As we have been visiting a lot of churches since we arrived in the USA, I hope that some of you reading this are the brothers and sisters that we’ve had the joy to visit in person. I try to send an update once a month, but for this busy summer season, it will be every two months. Also, as a quick aside, if at some point you stop seeing our emails, if you would just check your spam box, sometimes we end up there. If you are new here, welcome! If not, thank you for being one of the dear friends who keep up with us. I have been delighted to hear how many of you are still reading my ramblings. As a reminder, I do occasionally add photos to the photos tab of the blog, and every once in a while we add a video too. I recently added our vlogs there in case you missed any. Finally, there is a contact tab if you want to reach out to us, which I will add, we would very much like :) On to the fun stuff! June has been a whirlwind! We are now at the half way mark of our time in the US. So far, we have visited a different church nearly every Sunday that we’ve been here, and we have marked several restaurants off of our list of places we wanted to eat at. The kids have been showered with crayons and bubble wands, and love has been poured out over our family. I don’t know that there is another family in existence that is as loved and blessed as ours. For that I must say “thank you”! While we hit our pillows exhausted most nights, it's absolutely worth it for the play dates, pot lucks, and hours on the interstate to be among loved ones. Words cannot express the gratitude that we have for each of you who have hosted us for a meal, allowed us to share in your church or spoken encouraging words to us. Sometimes you don’t realize you’ve been roaming in a desert until you stumble upon an oasis. We are so encouraged! Last night, the girls reminded their grandma that we only have 5 weeks left in America! So little time, so much to do! Luckily we have already accomplished several important errands since we arrived. We were able to get Silas’ social security number and card, complete several necessary medical check-ups, and attend a conference with our organization. We still need to make a couple doctors appointments, but for the most part, we can now focus on enjoying friends and family. The kids will finally get to celebrate Independence Day properly, and they will get to experience church camo for the first time!
Across the pond, our Croatian friends have been so kind as to check in on our house, and reach out to let us know we are missed. We are living in a strange limbo where neither Kentucky or Croatia truly feels like home. Sometimes I have to just focus on what lies directly ahead because the big-picture of our life feels a little (a lot) overwhelming. So for now, we are simply living in this beautiful moment of rejoicing with all of you for the ways God is using our family on the mission field. We love and appreciate you! We do not deserve the blessings that we have received. It is by God’s grace alone that He allows us to be part of His kingdom work and we are so thankful for the ways that you are partnering with us. With love, until next time, Anna B.

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?
